 A 36-year-old man popularly known as Oluman has hanged himself over owing government loan debt at Twifu Amanpoma in the Twifu Atti-Mokwa District of the Central Region.

The sad event happened early Thursday morning around 5:30 am when his family members went to his room.

They went to his room and knock on his door but did not open, they forcefully open the door only to see him hanging on his ceiling fan leaving a note that he has gone for a government loan for a business but he allegedly misused the money.

In the letter, the bank Authorities have warned him to place an injunction on his properties but could not admit their terms rather suggested suicide.

Residents in the Twifu Amampoma have been thrown into a state of shock because he just came back from Accra not long ago not knowing he has planned to commit suicide.

An investigation conducted by Soireenews.com revealed that the man was the quiet type and don't like explaining his challenges to his parents, friends, and neighbours who are in the same community with him.

He left behind three children and a wife. His both parents are alive.

The body has been deposited to Twifu Praso government Hospital Mortuary for an autopsy, whiles police are doing investigations into the matter.

No arrest has been made so far.
