Confirming the President's nominees is a sign of unity and development- Hon Kwasi Adu Gyan 

The Bono East Regional Minister, Honourable Kwasi Adu Gyan today joined the Kintampo Municipal Assembly as 64 Assembly members exercised their franchise to confirm the nominee by the President of the republic Nana Addo.

After the voting, all the 64 Assembly members voted YES representing 100% endorsement for Hon Isaac Baffoe Ameyaw a.k.a Koola as the MCE elect for Kintampo North Municipal Assembly.

In an interview with the media, Hon Isaac Baffoe Ameyaw said he is not surprised by what happened because the people of Kintampo are always integrated and support anyone whose ideas will help bring development to the people of Kintampo. 

In a related development, 36 votes were cast as YES which represented 90% against 4 votes cast as NO; 10% for Hon Opoku Nyame in the Kintampo South District  Assembly.

Hon Opoku Nyame gave thanks to the Member of Parliament for Kintampo South for his support and also told SoireeNews that he has no plans of contesting for the position of the Member of Parliament (MP) at Kintampo following the assistance of Hon Alexander towards him for the MCE Position.

Speaking with the media, Hon Adu Gyan expressed that the huge endorsement is a sign of unity and development in the Constituency.
