CHIEFS OF KINTAMPO THREATENED TO LEAD A DEMONSTRATION DUE TO LACK OF DEVELOPMENT. 

According to Kyeremankoma hene of Kintampo Nana Effah GuakroKintampo has been ignored for far too long by the NPP government.

Chiefs in Kintampo, in the Bono East region, have sent a warning to the government about an impending protest about inadequate roads and underdevelopment in the area. 

If their roads are not fixed and basic utilities like water are not provided, the chiefs threaten they will urge their subjects to launch large protests. 

According to Kyeremankoma hene of Kintampo Nana Effah GuakroKintampo has been ignored for far too long by the NPP government.

He added that If nothing occurs, he claims, the government will hear from them soon however, they'll stage a protest against the government. 

On his part, Nana Owusu Pinkrah II, Kontihene of Kintampo, said Kintampo has several tourist attractions, including the Kintampo waterfalls, Fuller Falls, and the Ghana Center, among others, that need to be developed but have been neglected. 

To generate revenue, Nana Pinkrah encouraged the government to develop all of the area's tourism destinations. 

Some locals and Assemblymember for Sunkwa Electoral Area Isaac Appiah expressed their dissatisfaction with the Akufo Addo-led government, claiming that no meaningful development has occurred. 

They threatened that if they do not get their fair share of national development projects, the youth will stage a protest.
