Chelsea have been linked with the erstwhile Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann amid uncertainty over his Barcelona speculation.

The Blues need a new striker and as things stand now, it’s possible they will bring Griezmann to Stamford Bridge.

Borussia Dortmund’s striker Erling Haaland is the Blues top transfer target having seen the forward scored 40 goals across all competitions last time out.

But the Bundesliga giants are in no mood to sell Haaland, especially after allowing Jadon Sancho to join Manchester United, that pursuit could be in vain.

However, Chelsea are very much in the picture now to sign the former Rojiblancos forward Antoine Griezmann, the Spanish Media Outlet Sport reports.

And it was confirmed by Griezmann’s advisor in 2017 that Chelsea had made an approach for the 30-year-old, who was strutting his stuff for Atletico at the time.

A swap deal with Atletico Madrid had been mooted but, in a new twist, that’s now off the table.

Chelsea have also shown keen interest in their ex-striker Romelu Lukaku and they have this firm believe that the Belgian International has unfinished business at Stamford Bridge.

But, like with Borussia Dortmund and Erling Haaland, Inter Milan won’t be taken to the negotiating table.

In their eyes, he’s unsellable, especially after firing them to Serie A title glory last season.

The Blues are also admirers of England and Tottenham Hotspurs captain Harry Kane.

However, Daniel Levy seldom does business with Premier League rivals. Kane may want to leave, but Levy will make sure Stamford Bridge isn’t his next destination.
