Chelsea wants Dean Henderson to be in between the Stamford Bridge sticks.

Frank Lampard is willing to end the goalkeeping slip-ups associated with Kepa Arrizabalaga and employ the Manchester United loanee permanently.

Henderson has made 35 appearances in the Premier League this season for the Blades and has kept 13 clean sheets as compared to Kepa's eight. The Sheffield United shot-stopper is two short of Nick Pope, who leads the Golden Gloves race with 15 after 37 games.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Chelsea are prepared to more than double Dean Henderson's wages in an attempt to prise him away from Manchester United.

United are facing goalkeeping challenges following series of errors from David De Gea, with the recent leading to Manchester United’s exit from the FA Cup by Chelsea.

"David is the best goalkeeper in the world" - Solskjaer hails goalkeeper after fans criticism

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seems not ready to commit the Red Devils post in the hands of the young player, having acknowledged the Spaniard last month regardless of the blunders.

“David is the best goalkeeper in the world. He’s conceded two goals in the last seven games he’s played for us. There’s a few games against [Manchester] City, Chelsea, Tottenham, and Everton. Two goals in seven games, he’s been on a run of not conceding goals. The two goals… the Everton one is a freak one and this one, maybe he can save it, maybe he can’t save it,” he said.

“He makes great saves and wins games for us and I still think he’s the best goalkeeper in the world. He’s not making errors that you see time and time again. I’m really happy with his work. David is working consistently hard in training and I’m happy with his work.”

Dean Henderson extended his loan deal with Chris Wilder’s side till the end of the current campaign. His future will soon be decided yet Lampard is monitoring events and a money-spinning deal for the 23-year old is on the table to join the Blues.
