Chelsea are looking to add former Manchester United winger, Cristiano Ronaldo to their squad this summer.

The Blues are looking to have a total transformed team to enter into the 2020-2021 season with optimism of winning and compete for European honors. The Premier League team has already acquired Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and has agreed on a deal in principle with RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner.

Bayern Leverkusen’s Kia Havertz and Leicester’s Ben Chilwell have all been strongly linked to Stamford Bridge.

Frank Lampard’s side were initially sanctioned by FIFA in February after breaching article 19 of its regulations on the status and transfer of players, which concerns the protection of minors. The club were also found to have breached Article 18, concerning third-party influence.

The Global Press reports that Chelsea are willing to pay €120m to secure the services of the Portuguese from Juventus.

Ronaldo would welcome a move if Juventus fail to win this season's Champions League and further improve their squad despite their continuing dominance in the Serie A. The Portuguese International since his departure has seen a dip of winning personal awards across Europe and the World as his rival, Lionel Messi is bestowed the major honors.

He scored 118 goals in the Premier League for Manchester United during his time.
