Chairman Wontumi Threatened to Expose Otumfour And His Traditional Chiefs- Kelvin Taylor

Following the Ashanti Region's traditional chiefs' decision to release politician Chairman Wontumi, Kelvin Taylor has revealed the behind-the-scenes events that led to that decision.

Speaking on his show, Kelvin Taylor asserts that Chairman Wontumi threatened Otumfour, threatening to expose him and his traditional chiefs if they made him appear foolish in front of the Ashanti Region's citizens, who are primarily Ghanaians.

Otumfour Osei Tutu and his traditional chiefs, according to Kelvin Taylor, have skeletons in their closets.

He claims that Chairman Wontumi gave some young girls photographs and videos of the traditional chiefs in their undies, clearly intended as enticement or as their side chicks.

However, Kelvin Taylor also made public the fact that Chairman Wontumi possesses images and recordings of the traditional leaders implicated in the heinous crime known as "Galamsey."

The well-known media figure claims that Chairman Wontumi threatened Otumfour multiple times with reference to his and his traditional chiefs' exposure.

According to reports, Chairman Wontumi publicly disparaged Otumfour Osei Tutu, the Asantehene.

It was stated that at the NPP's most recent Ashanti Regional Parliamentary Vetting, Chairman Wontumi and an organizer for the Manhyia South Constituency got into a fight.

About forty people saw the misunderstanding, including Otumfuo's Brempon Nana Kwaku Duah, the Chief of Kokoso, who was also present in the building in her capacity as the Chair of the party's Council of Elders for the seat.

According to sources, Samanhene Nana Osei Kwaku received a report on the matter from Nana Kwaku Duah. Osei Kwaku then passed the information along to higher-ups at the Palace, who issued Otumfuo's decree.

According to independent investigations, Wontumi was approached by a Manhyia South Constituency officer aligned with the Napo for refusing to testify about the substantial contribution made by Manhyia South MP Matthew Opoku Prempeh to the NPP's internal operations in the area. This is when the miscommunication occurred.

During the heated argument that lasted for over thirty minutes inside the vetting room.

Wontumi is reported to have yelled in a mix of Twi and English, saying, "I have built my kingdom, I have my police and military, and I will speak my mind to Otumfuo if I disagree on an issue with him (Otumfuo)." This claim has been corroborated by Nana Kwaku Dua, who was present during the argument.

Otumfour Osei Tutu summoned Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, and he reported at the Manyia Palace yesterday.

Majority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, NPP National Chairman Stephen Ntim, and NPP General Secretary Justin Kondua Frimpong accompanied Wontumi.

According to reports, Chairman Wontumi has been released since the traditional chiefs said he had done nothing wrong.

Oyerepa TV claims that Kokosohene, Chairman Wontumi's accuser, was held accountable for disclosing political matters in the palace.

The traditional leaders consequently warned him not to get involved in party politics.
