Making a decision and sticking with it, in her opinion, is crucial.

"It does, for sure. I often stress that it's not a fake when you see someone making money through social media. You need to choose your route, she said.

Diamond Michelle, better known as Michy, went on to say that she treats her Instagram account like a workplace and makes regular efforts to keep it presentable.

"I handle my page as an office. You won't find anything there other than adverts for my music. A business platform exists on my page. I don't even wish you a happy birthday there. I reserve those for personal Snapchat since this is my professional space, and I want to keep it that way," she said.

She said, "When potential customers or businesses evaluate me, they should realize that every post—even the lighthearted ones—serves as an advertisement."

The cost for the adverts Michy posts on her Instagram profile was then revealed, demonstrating the value she offers.

"The costs differ. I have several bundles. It can be in the area of Gh1,500–2,000 if you can manage one post. Currently, my team and I have introduced a 50k package and a 250k package for a year. The amount of effort I put into this deserves the price. I sometimes need to alter my environment, so I pay for meals at restaurants, hotel stays, and apartment visits out of my own wallet, she said.

She stressed the value of authenticity when asked about the requirements she had for working with brands.
