Alex Donkor One person fear dead as seven others also had various degrees of injury as a result of an accident that happened at Ekumfi Dunkwaw on the Apam-Mankesim highway in the Central Region.
The drive river of a Tema-Cape Coast bound Toyota mini bus with registration number GN 9218- 21 attempted to overtake its leading vehicle whilst approaching a sharp curve.
According to some of the victims who spoke to Soireenews, the family of 8 were attending a funeral at Cape Coast and were a little behind the hearse carrying the corpse of the deceased.
They said the driver whilst overtaking a leading vehicle saw another vehicle approaching from the other section of the road and in an attempt to avoid a head-on collision veered off the shoulder of the road and crashed into a tree causing the vehicle to fall sideways.
The driver who is currently in critical condition, his conductor and the Tema family of 8 has been rushed to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospitals
