Cardi B answers to Kanye West's "Illuminati plant" remark

In the video in question, West, also known as Ye, is heard saying in a phone call that "Cardi B is a plant by the Illuminati" [via UPROXX].

She doesn't write her raps, he said. She's only there to appear as clueless as possible. She purposefully took Nicki Minaj's place... She believes it to be a gift from the cosmos, yet it isn't at all a gift.

Cardi responded to the information that was published yesterday (October 1) by sharing a footage of a recent interview West had with Hollywood Unlocked on Twitter/X along with a red heart emoji. But that response has subsequently been removed.

In an interview with Hollywood Unlocked, West claims, "I've always believed in her since she was on the show," possibly alluding to the reality series Love & Hip-Hop: New York, which aided Cardi in launching her career.

The videos leave it up to the viewers to determine what West really feels about Cardi.

Since then, the two have worked together. They appeared on the song "Hot Shit" with Lil Durk a few months after Kanye West's interview last year.
