Member of Parliament for Tain Constituency, Hon. Ramzy Sulemana Adama has expressed concern over the lack of internet accessibility in his Constituency.

The Tain legislature filed a question asking the Minister for Communication and Digitalization, Ursula Owusu Ekufu on the Floor of Parliament if there are plans to connect the following communities in the Tain constituency to the Rural Telephony Project.

Brodie, Yabraso, Atomfourso, Akore, Degedege, Bepoayase, Bebunsua, Konkonte.

According to the Legislature, the response given to him by the Minister is not satisfactory since none of the communities falls within the first Phase Project which started this year.

The MP discharged his displeasure about the deprived access to internet connectivity.

‘’In this 21st century, our everyday activities are guided by the Internet, hence the need for government to attach more seriousness internet accessibility in rural communities’’, he stressed.

He stated in an exclusive interview that the lack of internet connectivity is affecting the economic growth and quality of education in his area.

Hon. Ramzy urged his constituents to look up to him for a complete presentation and also pray for him. He added that he will do his best to lobby for many projects for the people.
