Bono region: suspected ritual snake burnt to ashes, owner on the run

Residents of Berekum were in a state of shock after a big snake was found coming out from a moving private car.

The vehicle was seen driving by unknown guys in Berekum around Berekum Golden city park of the Bono region.

According to an eyewitness, the guys who were onboard in the car are not known in the environs.

 Adding that In an attempt for the driver of the vehicle to rescue his pet foiled as angry residents almost attacked and lynched them.

However, the guys have been tagged by residents as "Sakawa Boys" due to the strange nature of the happening.

Meanwhile, the angry residents killed and burnt the snake into ashes instant.

Inhabitants are currently in fear as they keep recording such incidents within the area.

They are however calling for security assistance to curb unforeseen happening within the Berekum and Bono region as a whole.
