Bono Region: NPP Regional Secretary Condemns Action Of Party Supporters in Berekum East

The  Bono Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Kofi Boateng has condemned the action of some irate party supporters of the Berekum East constituency of the vandalized party office.

Reports available to Soiree News indicate that the Berekum East constituency party office was vandalized by some aggrieved Party supporters,  accusing the constituency executives of hoarding the polling station Executives forms.

Reaction to the action during an interview with Soiree News Nana Anfrw, Mr. Kofi Boateng said the action of the supporters was condemnable and needs not to be pampered.

“As NPP leadership in the region, we will do everything possible to investigate the matter and bring the perpetrators to book”,  he said.

Mr. Kofi Boateng further explained that his attention has been drawn to the fact that the constituency executives have reported the incident to the police and the party’s regional hierarchy is in full support of that.
“Being a party member does not guarantee you to destroy party properties any time you become aggressive”, the Regional Secretary fumes.
He advised members of the New Patriotic Party to be disciplined and respect rules and regulations governing the party.

Mr. Kofi Boateng also called on constituency executives to make available the application forms to all eligible party members who wish to contest for the various positions in their respective polling stations.
