Supporters of NPP in the Adansi Asokwa have called on Akufo- Addo to give Mr. Kobina Tahiru Hammond a ministerial appointment

Some supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Adansi Asokwa constituency have raised a red flag on President Akufo-Addo for denying their member of parliament Mr Kobina Tahiru Hammond a ministerial appointment.
The supporters say they do not understand why an astute person like Mr Hammond could not be considered in Nana Addo's appointment.
Speaking to the Soireenews' Kofi Wusu Brempong, the supporters said "It beats our comprehension that a lawmaker like K.T Hammond can be denied for a ministerial position.
"We've heard in the media that our MP is at loggerheads with Nana Addo hence his denial. However, we want Akufo- Addo to come out and tell us why he did not appoint our MP."
They explained further that in 2016 President Akufo Addo promised to give K.T Hammond a ministerial position when he (Akufo-Addo) assumes office but that couldn't be materialized.
"As a result, they are reminding him to fulfil to avoid divisions within the NPP party."
