The Bono Regional Police Command is currently investigating a Party official from the Sunyani East New Patriotic Party ahead of the polling station executive election after some members of that Party succeeded in securing a court injunction against the process.

Speaking on Ark in the morning, monitored by Soiree News,  Agyei Sarkodie a communication member for the Bono NPP said, " those who organized a press conference for suspecting of a foul play in the selling of the nominations forms was uncalled for".

He added that the agitation that sought to undermine the leadership of the MCE Hon. Ansu Kumi should have at least waited for the process to start before blaming officials for suspected fraud or the elimination of some members from the list.

On his part, the Bono Regional treasurer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Isaac Amponsah Badu disagreed with Party folks who jeopardize their parties by making internal party issues public saying there are structures and rules in every Party.

He was worried such issues can bring conflicts and internal wrangling which is not healthy for the future but was hastened to add that the court in its wisdom has placed the injunction for peace to prevail, he added that the sure way of achieving peace and stability is fairness which did not happen in the Sunyani East NPP.
