Reggae artist Blakk Rasta, who has generated controversy, has stated that he plans to leave the nation in the event that the New Patriotic Party, which is in power, wins this year's general elections.

Speaking recently on New Day, the Obama hitmaker declared that if the NPP's goal comes true, he would not think twice about moving to any other nation, even if he believes that this year would be fantastic. 

"If the NPP breaks the eight, which I doubt they will, I'm leaving this country. As I've stated on numerous occasions, this indicates that Ghanaians are insensitive to suffering. Numb to the obvious corruption, to all these things. I'm out if they break the eight.

"It's fine, anywhere but Ghana is better. I truly mean it when I say that I will be leaving Ghana. We have spent a great deal of time and energy building this nation, and if people are unable to accept change, it is evident that they are not ready for it.

It like a youngster running toward a fire. When the youngster does not object to your commands to stop, you can hold him and give him a little spanking before telling him that there is danger and that he should not go there.

There are moments when you have to watch the child approach the flames. He stated, "There will be a little more reasonable when it burns him/her."
