Black Sherif is unaware of his contract's stipulations, according to the CEO of Cruise People

The Ghanaian musician Black Sherif was detained on Wednesday at the Kotoka International Airport immediately after he returned to Ghana following several days away.

His arrest was a result of him breaking the terms of the agreement they signed, or breach of contract, according to the corporation that ordered his detention.

According to Mr. Daniel Vanderpuye, who is the reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards artiste of the Year, the musician has no understanding of the terms of the contract he signed, which is why they are taking legal action against him, according to an exclusive interview.

He claimed that after unsuccessful attempts to persuade Black Sherif and his management to comply with their demands, they made every effort to speak with the musician.

He clarified that they attempted to contact the singer directly in order to show him a clause of the contract that specifies that the booking agents, and by extension Echo Location Talent Agency, are not responsible for any outcomes.

The CEO of Cruise People Limited revealed that the contract's intent was to hold the musician—in this case, Black Sherif—responsible for any issues that might arise between them and the clients requesting his services.

Mr. Daniel Vanderpuye continued by saying that this prompted them to make an effort to get in touch with Black Sherif, present him with the contract, and inform him that he would be held accountable if the problems were not resolved peacefully.

But all their attempts were unsuccessful since they were unable to contact him, and they continued that they wished to avoid both what occurred at the airport and the fines that would follow.
