Bechem-Techimantia-Akumadan road to be completed soon-Akufo-Addo

President Nana Akufo-Addo has assured the chiefs and people of Bechem in Tano South Municipal of the Ahafo Region of completion of the Bechem-Techimantia-Akumadan road project before leaving office in 2024.

Nana Akufo-Addo is in Ahafo Region for a two-day tour in the region.

He has so far Commission an ultramodern storey building administration block for Dua-Yaw Nkanta Presbyterian Midwifery Training School funded by GetFund for the school and Small Town Water project for Brosankro Community funded by $1m per Constituency.

President Nana Akufo-Addo while speaking at Bechem said the 47kilometers Bechem-Techimantia-Akumadan project which is dear to the farmer's heart will be completed soon.

The contractor "Countorango Construction Limited" a Chinese firm is on-site to ensure that the project was completed on time

The Omanhene of Bechem Traditional Council, Nana Fosu Gyeabour Akoto II, said the chiefs and people of Ahafo are grateful to President Akufo-Addo for bringing peace, unity, free  SHS and development to  Ghana.

Background

Some residents in the Ahafo Region on Thursday appealed to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to facilitate the completion of Major roads in the Region as he undertakes a working visit to the Ahafo Region.

 In an interview with the Soireenews in the Region on their expectations from the visit, the residents said the completion of some major Roads was long overdue, and they expected the President to facilitate its completion.
