Bawumia inspects Tamale Interchange before Tuesday's commissioning

Vice President of the Republic, Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia has today Thursday landed in Tamale to inspect the ongoing work at the Tamale Interchange.

Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives, some opinion leaders, the Northern Regional Chairman of NPP, Alhaji Bantima Samba led the delegation to welcome the Vice President at the Tamale International Airport. 

Dr. Bawumia has since visited the Tamale interchange with the team to observe the progress of work towards its commissioning.

He expressed satisfaction about the project and however urged the engineer to Fastrack its completion on the stipulated time.

The engineer assured him of completing the work as soon as possible before the commissioning on Tuesday, 29th March 2022.

The project would be commissioned by President Akufo Addo on Tuesday to help ease traffic in the Tamale Metropolis.
