BoG occupation:We are prepared for anything-Ato Forson Barring any change, the Bank of Ghana(BoG) will be occupied by a cross sections of Members of Parliament and the general public to demand the removal of the Governor of the Bank of Ghana.
The move, according to the Members of Parliament is to safeguard the sanctity of the nation's mother bank from collapse.
The members of parliament believe that the removal of the governor of the BoG who is being used as a puppet by the Akufo Addo-Bawumia government to cause the country in excessive of GHS60.5 billion loses, a situation described as a novelty in over 50 years of the bank's existence.
In an exclusive interview with Soireenews.com Reporter Prosper Keaku Selassy Agbitor on Monday, August 21, 2023, the Minority Leader assured their unwavering resolve to press home the demand for removal of Ernest Addison, the Bank of Ghana governor.

He said if the government decide to intimidate them, then the lose was deliberate.
"We are Members of Parliament-and the representatives of the people. Whatever we demand for reflect the aspirations and expectations of the people we represent. We cannot leave the collective destiny of our people in the hands of those who have no knowledge of handling the economy", Honourable Cassiel Ato Forson declared.
The lawmaker at a press conference some twelve days again ago giving an ultimatum for the removal of the governor of the Bank of Ghana.
