AWUTU SENYA WEST TERTIARY STUDENTS RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIPS FROM MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT.

I believe in human capital development and also place high currency on education, this has been my priority hence my commitment towards supporting.

The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West, Honorable. Gizella Tetteh-Abgotui has presented her second batch of scholarships to 50 tertiary students. 

The presentation forms part of her human capital development in fulfillment of her campaign promise. The 50 beneficiaries of which 22 were females and 28 males were selected across the constituency.

Speaking to parents and students at a brief ceremony held at the Awutu Beraku SDA Church to present the scholarship today, 1st March 2022, the member of Parliament said: "l believe in human capital development and also place high currency on education, this has been my priority hence my commitment towards supporting education in Awutu Senya West. The first batch of students who benefited from the same scholarship somewhere in June last year is doing well and today you are 50, l pledge to continue supporting education. It is my fervent hope that you too make good use of tonality to support someone also in future".

The District Director of Education, Mr. Isaac acquaah-Arhin, and the traditional authorities who were present praised Honorable Gizella Tetteh-Abgotui for her kind gesture.
They also expressed their gratitude to her for the cordial relationship she has built with them over the years.

Other dignitaries Nana  Abomsompem IV (Chief of Obrachire and Bamuhene of Awutu Traditional Area), Nai Esirfi Gyan III (Akyeamehene of Awutu Traditional Area), and Nai Tsupi Oshimpo, Traditional Council representatives, Mr. Daniel Ako, NDC Constituency Chairman, District Assembly representatives, Christian and Islamic Clergy and scores of NDC executives.
