Aubameyang has signed a new contract at Arsenal, the club has confirmed.

 

 

The Gunners captain was in the final 12 months of his contract and finally, put pen to paper on a three-year deal on Tuesday evening.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has been impressive for Arsenal since his arrival from Dortmund having netted 72 goals in 111 appearances, scoring twice in the FA Cup final victory against Chelsea.

He scored 29 goals in 44 features last season.

 

 

He won the FA Community Shield with the Gunners against Liverpool and was on target in the Gunner opening fixture against Fulham last Saturday.

“Signing for this special club was never in doubt," Auba said.

"It’s thanks to our fans, my team-mates, my family, and everybody at this club that I feel like I belong here. I believe in Arsenal. We can achieve big things together. We have something exciting here and I believe the best is to come for Arsenal.”

The agreement will see him at the Emirates until 2024.
