Asutifi South DCE repair Kwantene faulty borehole after Soireenews expose

The Acting District Chief Executive for Asutifi South in Ahafo Region, Honourable Dwumoh Mensah Robert has repaired the Kwantene faulty borehole for the people of the community.
This follows the Soireenews report on Friday 27, 2021 that the people of Kwantene in the Asutifi South District shares drinking water with pigs for the past 3months after the only borehole in the community develop a fault.
Hon Dwumoh Mensah Robert promised that the borehole will be repaired soon when contacted and has fulfilled it.
Soireenews Sulley Dramani visit to Kwantene indicates the pipe has been repaired for the community to enjoy potable water.
Some residents of Kwantene expressed gratitude to Soireenews and DCE for timely intervention.
Hon Dwumoh Mensah Robert who was grateful to Soireenews for reporting issues affecting human life also appeals to rural communities in the district to adopt selling or charge households per month or week a token so that they can help repair their borehole on due time in terms of emergency.
