Appiatse Explosions: Victims go indignant after three days rainfall

The serving Victims of the Appiatse explosion go indignant after three days of rainfall, according to them they find it very difficult when it rain, so they are appealing to the local committee to in place measures, To help them as the government speeds up in the reconstruction of their homes.


The people said this when the Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni valley constituency Hon. Robert Wisdom Cujo visit them at the Appiatse relief come on 14th February 2022 to celebrate valentines day with them.

The people continue that, for the past three days that it has been raining, it has been very difficult for them to stay in their various tents which were raised for them because the water always has its way in the tent which has led to the destruction of their things. 

They also added that money should despair to them in other to make they're living a bit comfortable since they have no source of income. 


In an interview, Hon. Robert Wisdom Cujo MP for Prestea Huni valley constituency plead with the people of Appiatse to bear with the local committee because with the situation nobody can have a life of comfort but also urged the committee to up their game to make things better at Appiate relief camp than how they are now even though it a temporal place for the people of Appiatse. 


Also from the local committee, the PRO for the committee Mr. Thywill Quashie explain that measures have been put in place to find a solution to the problem for the people of Appiatse to some comfort of staying at the camp. He also added that the committee is putting things in place to despairs money to them as they are appealing for.
