The current coach of Inter-Milan, Antonio Conte could be set to leave the club just weeks after guiding the side to their first Serie A title in over a decade.

Gazetta Dello Sport reports that the former Italian International will be returning to the Premier League in no time soon.

Conte has held a meeting with Tottenham Hotspurs officials over the possibility of replacing Jose Mourinho according to findings.

The Inter boss, Antonio Conte led his side to the Serie A title this season in what was a brilliant campaign for the San Siro outfit.

Inter-Milan has stormed to victory in the Italian league this season, winning the title for the first time in over a decade by amassing a 13-point lead with just four games left.

According to Gazetta Dello Sport, Conte could be on his way out from the Italian Serie A this due to the fact that Conte held a positive meeting with Tottenham over a return to the Premier League.

Spurs are on the hunt for a new manager after firing Jose Mourinho who has now signed a three-year deal as the new manager for AS Roma.

Ryan Mason took over as interim head coach until the end of the season, but it seems unlikely he will be given the job on a permanent basis.

Julien Nagelsmann, Brendan Rodgers and Erik Ten Hag have all distanced themselves from the role, while reports suggest Brighton manager Graham Potter could be in line for the job.

But contrasting reports claim Spurs want a manager who has worked with world-class players before. Conte didn't spend long in England and managed Chelsea for just two seasons before leaving, but he still managed back-to-back trophies.

He won the Premier League title in his first season before adding an FA Cup the year after. Despite continuing to have success in Italy, he is apparently undecided on staying at the San Siro.

"I'll be staying or leaving Inter? Now we enjoy the celebrations, then we'll meet and decide. "We will choose the best destiny for Inter," Conte said.
