Kenkey and Corn Millers at the Kumasi racecourse are calling on the new Mayor of Kumasi, Mr Samuel Pyne to as a matter of urgency compel their co-workers still at the Central market to come and join.

According to the angry millers, should the mayor fail to do what's expected, they will forcibly go back to join the recalcitrant ones who are still at the 'Boddey line" in the Central Market.

Mr Kwabena Poku, Chairman of the group speaking to Soireenews said their colleague workers are still refusing to join them at the Racecourse despite the authorities having given them a big place to occupy.

They're therefore giving a one-week ultimatum to the mayor to as a matter of urgency force those recalcitrants to be reunited on the grounds.

Other affected kenkey miller's who spoke to the media in a press briefing said the situation has dragged all their customers to the recalcitrants who still operate in the old Central Market.

Meanwhile, other women who are mostly dough sellers running a business with the Konkonte and corn millers said their businesses are collapsing and it's time the city authorities stand true to their directives else they'll do the unexpected.
