Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West, has cut sod for an ultramodern durbar ground at Awutu Bawjiase in the Central Region.

The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West Constituency stated that there are some pressing issues that she promised her constituents, and she would address before the elections.

The ultramodern durbar ground, she told, would serve the community during programs and activities like funerals, wedding ceremonies, engagements.

She promised to complete the durbar ground for Awutu Bawjiase within 18 months to accommodate the community during events.

She further promised to resolve issues relating to the fire service sector in case of any fire outbreak in the community.

Meanwhile, the Odikro for Bawjiase community, Nei Kwaku Osardu II also thanked the MP for fulfilling her promise, for the reason that acquiring funds to build the durbar ground has been a big burden to him and the community.

He further pleaded with the MP to honour the 18-month time frame of completion.

He also addressed the country's LGBTQI+ problem which he warned Parliament to vote for the bill to prevent the legalisation of the taboo in Ghana. He added that God's wrath will be poured if such atrocity is entertained.
