Amanasehene, Nana Addo Asiedu Darteh, has issued a one-week ultimatum to the Municipal Security Coordinating Council, especially the Municipal Police Commander to come out with an action to banish all fake and human ritual fetish priest that has taken over the Akyem Amanase land into ransom or face the wrath of the residents.

The angry Amanase chief issued the warning on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, when the fetish priest who was accused of involving in the 11 old boy Ishmael death was arrested by the youth of Amanase for questions and answers about the act deemed abominable.

The fetish priest after his arrest confirmed that those 5 men in handcuff were indeed in the community for ritual business, he narrated.

Wazinga went missing after the murdered boy in Kasoa was nabbed during an arrangement with some 5 young men to allegedly sacrifice another innocent boy over the weekend.

Nana explained, that the activities of the fetish priests in the area have been monitored since the wife of Wazinga name popped up in the death of Ishmael over a month ago.

Amanasehene opined that there were some five strangers in the community between Friday, May 7, and Sunday 9, 2021, even though, there was a funeral activity in Amanase, and a small boy revealed to his father, that a strange man has shared Toffee's for them over the past two days, so the father prompted the youth of the residents to carefully study the moves of these strangers.

He lamented that the last move that resulted in their arrest was when they tried to influence one of the boys with a diluted drink, and their phones were seized, a call came in from priest wazinga, asking them the whereabouts of the items, adding that the calls kept coming when the men were in the palace waiting for police to come in and pick them.

The youth then went with one of the alleged kidnappers to show them who actually was asking for the items and realized it was Wazinga, who then was arrested and sent to the chief palace.

Nana revealed, that people trooped to the palace after the news broke out that Wazinga is involved and demanded the release of the fetish priest to be lynched, indicated that his vicinity is now a threat to the community, according to residents.

He has, therefore, challenged the police command to come out with their investigation as early as possible or they will take the law into their own hands by burning down the houses of all fetish priests in the area.
