Cocid-19 vaccine

Member of Parliament for Jaman North Constituency in the Bono Region, Honourable Frederick Ahenkwa has suggested that Parliament should consider allowing them to take the COVID-19 vaccine in their various constituencies to allay fears in constituents’.

This he believes will help in winning the trust of people in the various constituencies to participate massively in taking the vaccine without considering the conspiracy theories making waves on the shots.

He explained that whether Members of the House would be allowed to take the vaccine individually or not; the Minister-Designate for Health, Honourable Kwaku Agyeman Manu will brief them but maintained that, MPs must be allowed to set an example by taking the vaccine publicly in their various constituencies to dispel every perception attached to it just as the President has done.

He cited that, the example being set by the leadership of the government and the opposition party has made it attractive for their followers to do same without panic, therefore he believes it will be a form of campaign to improve the interest of the people.

He added that there is a need for more education on the disease as some people in remote areas do not believe in its existence.
