When Gospel musician Joe Mettle claimed he didn't earn the Artiste of the Year award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, radio personality Nana Romeo attacked him.
Nana Romeo claims he thinks Joe Mettle was improperly included in that group by the VGMA organizers. He continued by saying that he anticipates the board to fix it before the event in May
When discussing the nominations on the E-Forum By Abrantepa, Nana Romeo posed the question, "Why was Joe Mettle listed under this category? as well as whether he "works for the VGMA board.
Ras Kuuku has questioned why Joe Mettle consistently receives a place in the "Artist of the Year" category. He emphasized that he wanted to know if Joe Mettle was a member of the VGMA board or if he was employed by them.
"Why was Joe Mettle selected for this category nomination? There is a question mark there, but we can't see it for some reason. Why have we not called into doubt the nomination of Black Sherif, Camidoh, and KiDi? Only Joe has been the subject of complaints.
