The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary hopeful of Kpando Constituency of the Volta Region, Mr. Divine Salase Agbeti, has demonstrated his statesmanship on Saturday May 13, 2013 as he personally approaches Mr. Sebastian Deh to congratulate him for winning Kpando NDC's constituency parliamentary race.

Mr. Deh was elected by the delegates and members of the NDC to represent Mrs. Della Adwoa Sowah who is the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP).

Mr. Divine Salase Agbeti emerged as a third person who contested Kpando Constituency parliamentary primaries on the ticket of the NDC which was held on Saturday May 13, 2013.

However, the young NDC outspoken politician didn't even get bored by not wining the race as he took his time to approach the winner of the race, Mr. Deh to congratulate him after he has boldly accepted defeat.

"I have spoken with Sebastian Deh directly to congratulate him for the landslide victory. Just as I’ve indicated throughout my campaign, regardless of the outcome of this election I’ll continue to serve the NDC party.

"I wish to extend my kind words of congratulations to Mr Sebastian Deh on your elections as the parliamentary candidate of the great National Democratic Congress in the Kpando constituency. 

"While I believe I put up a very decent fight, one anchored on hope and a renewed drive for the people of Kpando," Mr. Divine Salase Agbeti writes in a news item captured by Soireenews com.

According to Mr. Divine Salase Agbeti, the voters made a decision and selected one of the best people to steer the affairs of the our great party in the constituency from 2024. 

"I wish to also use the occasion to congratulate our beloved delegates for their support in this journey and wish to promise to continue working with you in many respects for the collective development of our constituency.

"The party will grow stronger with our collective will to work together, for victory 2024. With me, you and everyone, the NDC will regain its established presence in the Kpando municipality," he stated.
