The Kwahu Nkwatia Nkosuohene Nana Owiredu Wadie, has commissioned two projects in Kwahu Nkwatia of the Eastern Region.

The two projects being spearheaded by the chief are Dente Water Mechanisation and a new modern sports complex with tennis basketball and squash courts.
The ultramodern facilities were built with the financial support from Nana Owiredu Wadie, Nkosuohene of Kwahu Nkwatia.

Speaking on behalf of Nana Owiredu Wadie, after the commissioning of the two projects, the Executive Director for charity organization of Nana Owiredu Wadie "Kabaka Foundation, Mr Henry Larbi, noted that it was built pursuant to develop and to sponsor sports in the entire Kwahu enclave.
He urged all and sundry to support Nana Owiredu Wadie to develop Kwahu and provide opportunities for youth development in the area.. 
He said “These project are in line with Kabaka Foundation pillars of community infrastructure development and the water & sanitation programs and also to provide avenue to youth development and economic.

Speaking at a short durbar at the commission, the Kyedomhene of Kwahu Nkwatia, Nana Opoku Amankwaa ll commended the Nkosuohene for supporting the community with various social and prover radication intervention projects.

He advised the people to take good care of the facilities and entreated all to assist the Community with such Development.
On his Part, the President of GHANA TENNIS FEDERATION, Mr. Isaac Abɛ Duah, expressed his gratitude to Nana Owiredu Wadie for sponsoring such initiative in developing tennis in Ghana.
He noted deceived commendation because he construct a standard tennis court opened to public especially for the youth in Kwahu.

He congratulated the chief for organizing the first ever Tennis Championship in Kwahu, this he believes will bring Tennis clubs and individuals to Kwahu Nkwatia thereby bring businesses and development to the entire Kwahu.
