The Chief of Aburi traditional area and the Adontehene of Okuapeman traditional Council, Otoobour Djan Kwasi II has called on all citizens of Okuapeman Traditional Council to welcome the move by His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah to patronise the Covid 19 vaccination that is expected to take place from March 4, 2021.

According to the Aburihene, Nana Addo has worked assiduously since the pandemic erupted in Ghana 11 months ago by providing free water,  and through same that has yielded Ghana covid-19 vaccines to fight against the novel pandemic through immunization hence the need for Ghanaians, especially the citizens of Okuapeman to embrace the vaccination with all the urgency it requires to help fight against the spread of the coronavirus.

Nana Djan Kwasi downplayed the calls to resist the coming vaccinations by emphasis that the President of Ghana will never do anything to harm his countrymen and he stated categorically that if nobody is ready to receive the vaccine, he will lead the crusade by demonstrating leadership to receive the first dose for the people of Okuapeman to follow suit.

The Adontehene of Okuapeman, who is also the chief of Aburi, urged his colleague chiefs to lead the crusade of advocating for immunization before the programme begins on March 2, 2021.
