A Great Mallam Dies After The Wife Poured Acid On Him For Refusing To Divorce Her
After 15 years of marriage, a wife has poured on his husband acid for refusing to divorce her.

The Zongo community in the Greater Accra Region has been thrown into mourning as one of their renowned mallams perishes painfully.
Mallam Zuberu, a teacher at Adabiya Islamic School and the Imam of Alawiye Mosque at Akotex Accra Newtown passes on a few hours after being admitted at the ridge hospital over the acid burn.
According to the family, the wife called for divorce but the mallam refused so he the house to her father's house.
Her father sent her back to her Husband immediately but she wanted her husband to divorce her at all cost so decided to end the man's life.
During prayer time when everyone had gone to the mosque, the man was asleep and the wife prepared hot water and poured it on him, amidst struggling, she added the acid too.
Mallam Zuberu took a taxi to the Mamoobi General Hospital but the doctors could not help and referred him to Ridge Hospital.
He wasn’t prepared for that so he came back home. He got in front of his house and collapsed and that was when it became public knowledge, there he was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, he died yesterday.
They had 3 handsome boys and a girl and they’ve been married for almost 15 years now. The woman is currently in police custody and will appear before a law court soon In Shaa Allah.
