Former National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)Hon.Joshua  Hamidu Akamba says Mr John Dramani Mahama, former president and flagbearer of the NDC will win the 2024 general election on free, fair, and credible grounds.
He said, no amount of intimation, rigging machinery by the EC or the security apparatus and the country can possibly suppress the will of the people.
His comment comes following the  deliberate attempt by the Presidency to orchestrate politically motivated changes within the hierarchy of the Armed Forces with the sole aim of using the military to brutalize citizens come December 7 Elections.
"let no military officer be ordered to intimidate voters, information we are getting is that, they have appointed someone who is a sympathizer and in bed with the NPP, and removing someone who's a professional. So let them be full aware that they shouldn't push or give an order to any officer to misbehave on the day of Elections come December 7." He told the host of Gumbe Show on TV XYZ
He added "The number of civilians are more than the soldiers, and civilian uprising is more dangerous than that of coup so the officers on Election day ought to thread cautiously" he warned
He reiterated that, the brutalization and killing of innocent souls captured on video at Techiman South during the last Elections would be investigated by the next NDC government and security officers involved will be dealt with according to the laws of the land.
He further indicated that if Ghanaians were to vote based on this current economic conditions and the state of the country, Mr Mahama would win any free, fair, and credible elections in the country. 
He said, “2024 offers the NDC the best opportunity to recapture political power, and we all must try our best possible to work to support John Dramani Mahama.” 
Mr Akamba said Mr Mahama, a former Vice President and President, is more experienced in governance and would be the rightful candidate to change the Fortunes of Ghana.  
He stressed out though there was a clear indication that the NDC would win the upcoming Presidential and Parliamentary elections, he cautioned the Party not to play the game of complecency thus take the elections for granted. 
Mr Akamba disclosed that the credibility and sustainability of their message was Paramount and urged all members of the NDC, especially its Communicators to trumpet the good messages and development projects undertaken by the Party in government over the years. 
He also said the 2024 elections called for hard work, unity of purpose, vigilance, and an uncompromising attitude devoid of any form of intimation. 
In his view, the NPP government usually adopted all forms of unfair ways and means to rig elections, Now we will stop them. They should not opine that we are joking, they have taken us for a ride for far too long.
He admonished all party executives across the country to campaign in every nook and cranny of all the Constituencies to propagate the message of the NDC, especially the ‘24-hour economy’ policy of the Party.
