Ghanaian Reggae artiste, REDfyah has survived an accident that occurred on Monday, June 1, 2020.

The multiple award-winning artiste released a statement immediately after the accident to confirm that he was unhurt in fear that the Ghanaian media would start to rumor his death.

He said: "..the accident happened few meters from the premises of the mechanic shop where he had gone to repair his car” and that; The accident happened as a result of brake failure forcing him to hit the passenger side of his car to the wall of a building”.

The management of REDfyah bolstered him claim, immediately asking his family, friends, and fans to be at rest as their artiste was unharmed following the auto-crash. The accident occurred in the evening of Monday, 1st of June, 2020, in Techiman, the capital of the Bono East Region where he is based.

The statement by the management of REDfyah read: "..the building was not damaged, however, the passenger side of REDfyah’s car was slightly damaged. REDfyah wishes to thank his family members, fans, and love ones who have called and sent messages to sympathize with him”.

The 'Aisha Na' hitmaker seized the opportunity to give thanks to God for saving him from the accident that could have otherwise been ghastly.

REDfyah has been making waves in the music industry as two of the songs off his "City of Gold" album have twice been nominated for awards in the years 2014 and 2015 by the prestigious Bass Awards. The "One World Tribe" music video that featured Australian David Pick was also nominated in 2015 for the Best Reggae Video by the BASS Music Awards held in Ghana.
