Liverpool offer Timo Werner a 5-year contract

The RB Leipzig striker has shown great admiration for the Reds for some years and aaccroding to sources, the transfer would be finalised in the next two months.

Timo Werner has agreed personal terms with Liverpool according to Nico Schira, an Italian journalist.

The pressman suggests that the Reds have offered the Italian a long term contract and the player will receive €8m per year plus bonuses until 2025.

The RB Leipzig striker has been a great admirer of Liverpool after lauding praises on Jurgen Klopp and professing Liverpool as the World’s Best club.

 

 

“Yes I know that Liverpool is the best team in the world at the moment,” he said.

“When you’re linked with that team it makes you very proud but in case of that, it’s a pleasure.

“But I know Liverpool have a lot of good players.

“I have to improve myself and to learn much more things to get on this level and to play there,”he said after the Spurs game when asked about Liverpool’s link.
