Burna Boy’s Song ‘Anybody’ Appears 6th On Obama’s Favorite 35 Songs List

The former president of the United States has released his list of 35 favorite songs of 2019 and Burna Boy’s second song on the ‘African Giant’ album ‘Anybody’ took the 6th position.

Born Damini Ogulu, Burna Boy has attained numerous awards in and across the world but he feels so pleased that the ex-president of the United States chose his song upon all the most celebrated stars in America and also occupying the 6th position.

According to the Nigerian artiste, its such an honor to be recognized by such a prestigious person in the person of former president Obama.

 

 

“From hip-hop to country to The Boss, here are my songs of the year. If you’re looking for something to keep you company on a long drive or help you turn up a workout, I hope there’s a track or two in here that does the trick,” he tweeted.

 

 

Obama’s collections were made up of great collaborations including U.K. R&B singer and 2019 Best New Artist Nominee Jorja Smith, Grammy-nominated R&B crooner Jeremiah, Nigerian rapper Zlatan, Jamaican dancehall artist Serani, Ghanaian singer/songwriter/rapper Manifest, Grammy-winning trap hero Future and West Coast rap champ YG.
