Arthur takes PCR test in Barcelona
Arthur Melo

Arthur Melo passed a coronavirus PCR test in a laboratory on Carrer del Comte d'Urgell in Barcelona on Friday.

The Brazilian midfielder has traveled back to Spain as a gesture of goodwill in order to reach an agreement with the club to terminate his contract.

As MARCA reporters have witnessed, Arthur was accompanied to the laboratory by his brother, Paulo.

The Brazil international will now wait to receive the results of the tests before meeting with Barcelona sporting director Eric Abidal and director Ramon Planes at the club's training ground.

There, they will discuss the issues of Arthur's contract, which Juventus will take over once the Blaugrana play their last official game of the 2019/20 campaign.

In the event Napoli knock out Barcelona on Saturday, there would be no need for a meeting to take place between the two parties.
