Allan Saint-Maximin is been monitored by a series of clubs including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs over a potential move.

The French winger impresses week in and out for the Magpies with his individual skills and has played a key role in Steve Bruce’s side triumph over games.

His ability and pace to run opposition defenses with force and create openings for goals is one main reason why influential teams want to include the 23-year old in their line up ahead of next season.

Le Sport 10 in France reported on Monday that Arsenal are eyeing up a potential deal for the Newcastle winger who moved from Nice for just £16m. Arteta requires the services of the energetic winger to bridge his midfield and supply Aubameyang and Lacazette with decisive balls upfront.

The Frenchman has made 22 appearances and scored three goals for the Black and White strips. He has been nominated for Premier League Player of the Month Award and would welcome a move if the deal is lucrative enough.

Steve Bruce earlier in his pre-match has ruled out any move for the player and expects him to stay at the St. James for next season and beyond.

“No chance. When you look at the money we bought him for, he is arguably the best pound for pound signing – show me another who is better.

“With what he has produced, we have probably got the buy of the season.”
