Alisson Becker is the winner of the FIFA Best Men's Goalkeeper Award on the night.

Alisson vibrated off his compatriot, Ederson of Manchester City and Barcelona’s Marc-Andre Ter-Stegen to claim the prestigious accolade. The Brazilian made an immediate impact on his arrival from Roma and solidified the Red’s defense. He kept 21 clean sheets in the English top flight and 32 in the overall tournament for club and country.

Becker was immense at the back for Liverpool as they conquered Europe for the sixth time.

He command the backline of the A Seleção to lift the Copa America in July. Alisson was named the tournament’s best goalkeeper, remarkably not letting in a single goal until the final, meaning he conceded just once in six matches during the tournament.

The Liverpool goalkeeper was also included in the FIFA FIFPRO Men’s World 11, 2019
