Zongo Development Fund: Western North Deserve Better -Deputy Nasara Coordinatoroordinator

The Deputy Nasara Coordinator for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency in the Western North, has stated clearly without grinding words that the region needs its equitable proportion of the Zongo Developments Fund (ZDF).

He expressed indignantly how the party has rejected the Western North region, especially Zongo societies in terms of developments. Understanding it may provoke a lot of mayhem to the party during the 2024 general elections, since followers in the constituency feel befuddled about the inferior treatment by the government.

Whilst addressing the media today, he emphasized that the Vice President, H. E Dr. Alhaji Bawumia, must ensure the various Zongo communities are being improved.

“We have a big task before us in the region, since no one cares about us. We have heard the vice President has inaugurated the board to start sixteen model schools in the country. We are appealing to him to ensure the Western North zone gets our part.”

He continued, “We have been deprived for too long. Some of us have to use our pocket monies to do party activities, but we don’t get anything. Even something small to start a trade after fighting to win power has become an issue. On behalf of my comrades, we want to draw this space to bring the attention of the President and his Vice to pay regard to our application.”

In conclusion, he reprimanded the top executives of the party for their ineptitude to fulfil their promises to Zongo communities.

“I can say it on authority that none of the numerous promises made to Zongo communities within the region have been satisfied. It’s very lamentable, the authorities must wake up from their stupor,” he noted.
