You made the country difficult – Mfantseman MP killers said before shooting him

The robbers who murdered the Mfantseman MP, Ekow Quansah Hayford allegedly accused him of contributing to the difficulty of life in the country, before shooting him.
According to an eyewitness report, the robbers were infuriated when the MP identified himself during their operation which left several passengers injured.
According to a report by ‘Joyonline’, the robbers made the MP get down from his car and shot him twice.
Mr Quansah Hayford is said to have kept shouting “please give me water to drink” after he was shot at the back of his car, but he was left there.

The unknown assailants blocked the Abeadze Dominase – Abeadze Duadzi – Mankessim road which was being travelled by the MP and his entourage on their way back from a campaign trip.
The driver is also reportedly injured and recuperating at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the body of Mr Quansah Hayford has been deposited at the Saltpond District Hospital.
The Ghana Police is still in active pursuit of the robbers who are currently at large.
