Liverpool CEO Peter Moore has revealed how the departure of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona benefitted the club.

The Brazilian was sold to the Catalans for 160 million euros in January 2018 before Liverpool went on to reach two Champions League finals without him.

"When Philippe Coutinho left there was a change, not only to the structure of the team but to the way we played football," Moore told the Mirror.
