West Africa Senior Secondary Certificate Examination: Drobo Senior High School Headmaster Worries Over Longer Stay of Final Year Students in the House after COLA Strike.

The Headmaster of Drobo Senior High School(DROSEC) in the Jaman South Municipal of the Bono Region, Emmanuel Takyi Ankrah has registered his displeasure over the absence of the final year students on campus following the teacher's Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) strike.

Speaking with Sorienews on the situation, Mr. Takyi Ankrah noted that the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) is fast approaching with only 10 days to start and the long stay of the students in the house will be a blow to the students and the school at large.

Though he said, the strike is over with all the teachers in full force but most of the students especially the boarders have not returned from their homes to school.

To avoid unforeseen dangers ahead of the examinations, Mr. Takyi Ankrah called on all the parents and guardians to ensure their wards are back on campus.

He finally added that the final year students should get in mind that, they only have 10 days to write their final examination and must try as much they can to report on campus to prepare finally for their exams else the long stay in the house will affect their performance in the exams.
