Wendy Shay Donates Medical Equipment Korle Bu Teaching Hospital On Her Birthday

The musician, who is well-known for both her critically acclaimed music and charitable work, gave the hospital a lovely presentation through her Wendy Shay Foundation.

Wendy Shay and her team delivered vital medical equipment to the prestigious Korle Bu Teaching Hospital at the presenting event, which improved the hospital's ability to care for its youngest patients.

Baby Cots, a Surgery Unit, a Radiant Warmer, a Paediatric Bed, and a Suctioning Machine were among the donated equipment.

According to Wendy's team, these essential resources will greatly raise the standard of care given to infants and young patients at the hospital.

The "Survival" hitmaker also reaffirmed the Wendy Shay Foundation's goals, emphasizing that they are committed to enhancing national healthcare and helping those in need.

"I think it's important for artists to use their influence to make positive changes," she said. "We want to address important social issues and help create a better future for everyone through the Wendy Shay Foundation," Wendy said.

Korle Bu Teaching Hospital's administration sincerely thanks Wendy Shay and her charity for their priceless assistance.  Dr. Hope Glover Addy, head of the Paediatric Surgery Unit, lauded the donation, emphasizing its direct impact on patient care.

It should be mentioned that Wendy Shay is not limited to the healthcare industry in her charitable endeavors.

She made waves last year on her 27th birthday in 2023 when she donated educational supplies through the Wendy Shay Foundation Educare Initiative.

The children of Weija Primary 1 and 2 benefited from this project, receiving freshly made school uniforms, backpacks, whiteboards, and numerous stationery items.
