Wenchi Police Swoop Operations Lead to the Arrests of 8 Wee Smokers Including a Lady.
Speaking to the CID, Mr Alhassan in Wenchi said, they have had soo many distressed calls from that area that, the wee people are disturbing them day and night are causing so much harm to their lives hence the plans of the police to destroy their abode.

The Ghana Police Service in Wenchi in the Bono Region has today around 6:35 pm conducted a swoop operation at Kaamu, a suburb of Wenchi where wee smokers have their abode and terrorising people.
The structures where they were living were all burnt down by the Ghana National Fire Service.
Speaking to the CID, Mr Alhassan in Wenchi said, they have had soo many distressed calls from that area that, the wee people are disturbing them day and night are causing so much harm to their lives hence the plans of the police to destroy their abode.
And arrested a number of them while others flee to the surrounding bushes in the area.
He added that the police were assisted by a different number of security men to undertake the operation but came without a car and surrounded the place which enable them to arrest 8 of them including a lady.
Mr AlhasMr said those arrested are now in the police cells in Wenchi for further investigation.
