Wenchi NPP holds handing over and swearing-in  ceremony

The newly elected executives for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Wenchi constituency of the Bono Region have been sworn into office.

The ceremony saw Mr. Yaw Gyan, the outgoing constituency chairman hand over the reins of the party stewardships to the newly elected chairman Mr. Ali Awudu popularly known as Bojoo no, and his team of young dynamics executives.

In his speech, Mr. Yaw Gyan thanked the entire NPP membership in the Wenchi constituency for their support during his tenure and asked them to extend the same to the new leadership.

He charged them to apply themselves diligently to the party and work hard to ensure that they recapture the lost parliamentary seat and break the 8 jinxes in 2024 to continue the solid work being done by His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and his team.

The ceremony was officiated by Honorable Alexander Obour Damoah, the Wenchi Municipal Chief Executive and also Chairman of the 2022 Wenchi constituency NPP Executives Election Committee.

He seized the opportunity to urge the rank and file of the party to unite and see themselves as members of one great family.

" All the internal politics within our party in the Wenchi constituency are over, therefore, we must all smoke the peace pipe and eschew any form of behavior that could derail us of the progressive vision we have all set for ourselves as a party. We should not insult ourselves again, all camps and teams are over, let's unite and face our common political rival which is the NDC to recapture the lost parliamentary seat and to break the 8 jinxes in 2024". 

In his acceptance speech the newly constituency Chairman, Ali Awudu, solicited the support of the entire NPP membership in the Wenchi constituency to enable the party to chalk resounding success in the years ahead.
