Bridging Academia And Industry Gap.

Reduce Ghana's over-reliance on imported goods and services.

Universities and Research Institutions have been encouraged to partner with the private sector to commercialize their works.

This is expected to reduce Ghana's over-reliance on imported goods and services.

Speaking at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology 70th Anniversary Science & Technology Exhibitions, industry experts observed the country has the potential of manufacturing a lot of things being imported.

This, they believe, can be achieved if the gap between academia and industry is bridged.

Executive Director of Agri-Impact, Daniel Acquaye said the country can solve its problem without relying on imported products.

Speaking with Professor Rita Akosua Dickson who is the Vice-Chancellor of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST)  she stressed the need for the university to assist the general public all way round.
