The Member of Parliament for Wenchi, Honorable Alhaji Seidu Haruna joined Muslims in the constituency to celebrate this year's Eid UL - Adha.

Addressing the audience he said Allah is the reason we are all alive to witness this year's Eid UL Adha worship and sacrifice and asked for His blessings for the years to come.

The lawmakers challenged the youth to put their energy and talents into positivity for a better tomorrow.

He also donated cash of GH¢ 4000.00 to aid the ongoing Wenchi Central Mosque project.

Honorable Alhaji Seidu Haruna admonished the youth to take their destiny into their own hands by taking their education very seriously so that, together we can change the narrative where everything bad is associated with the Zongo youth.

He seized the opportunity to urge Muslims to live in peace and remember the needy in our communities.

The Legislature visited the Istiqaama Muslims Organization, Ahul -sunna waijama, and the Wenchi Central eid grounds both in the Wenchi constituency.

Ameyaw Albert popularly known as the Messenger, an NPP stalwart speaking on behalf of the government encouraged all Muslims to make sure their wards are taken to school or pursuing vocational for the socio-economic development of the Wenchi constituency and Ghana at large.

He presented a ram to the Muslims on behalf of the party.

He called on the people of the constituency to rally behind the MP who is an NDC Lawmaker and the MCE to enable them to bring development to the area.

The NPP government will continue to develop the country he added.

In his capacity, he pledged to finance the best female Muslim WASSCE graduate in the constituency to pursue her university education.

His Eminence, Sheikh Issah Ibrahim, the Wenchi Municipal Chief Imam receiving the cash and the ram thanked both the MP and the NPP for the gesture and prayed for Allah's blessings them in all their endeavors.

Dignitaries of both NPP and NDC in the Wenchi constituency graced the occasion.

The Bono regional women's organizer, Miss Doris Asomah also joined the Muslims on the occasion and asked them to continue to seek God's wisdom and strength for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo and the Vice president, Dr. Alhaji Mahamud Bawumia to lead the country.

The event was a peaceful and colorful celebration.
